Victor Bwire, OGW, is the Director of Media Training and Development at the Media Council of Kenya, a leading self-regulatory statutory institution for media in Kenya. He leads strategic project conceptualization, resource mobilization, and program implementation to shape journalism in Kenya with global trends. He has consulted as a media trainer, university lecturer, and media relations expert. He specializes in development communication, media relations, message development, advocacy, public communication, and behavior change communication. Previously, he worked at ARTICLE 19 Eastern Africa and the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. He holds an MA in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Nairobi.
