Ifeyinwa V. Awagu was a Director of the Institute of Humanities (IOH) at the Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos from 2016 to 2022. She convened the annual IOH Conference on Human Dignity 2020-2022, the IOH Scholars Research Workshop 2017-20 and other laudable endeavours that define IOH. She has been actively involved in the accomplishments of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA Nigeria) through its Lagos State Branch since 1999. She served Lagos State Branch as Chairperson Law Week Committee in 2010, General Secretary 2011-13 and inaugural Chairperson of FIDA Nigeria Epe Branch 2022-23.
