Bethlehem N. Woldeyohannes is a media and Communications consultant and a writer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She writes at Africanfeminism , a pan-African feminists’ digital platform and collaborative writing project between African authors /writers with the long-term ambition of bringing on board at least one feminist voice from each country on the continent. She also writes a weekly column on Gender issues and politics on a weekly newspaper called Addis Maleda. She is a very passionate feminist who does activism in social and mainstream media on every issue that affect Ethiopian women. She is an active member of the Ethiopian Media Women Association (EMWA), a group formed by women work in media and public relations/ communications. The Association aims to work for better representation of gender issues in the media . Bethlehem has MA in Politics and the mass media from University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.
