Lydia Namubiru is the Editor-in-Chief of The Continent, and a director of its publisher, All Protocol Observed NPC, a South African non-profit. She is also an active African feminist campaigner, has worked as Africa Editor for UK-based open Democracy and as a contributor to various media outlets including Reuters, Al Jazeera and the BBC World Service.
