Keletso Thobega is a freelance journalist based in Gaborone, Botswana. Some of her work appears in The Continent, Mail and Guardian, Mmegi, Thomson Reuters, Independent UK. Keletso covers climate/environment, health, gender and governance. She is a Fellow for the African Union (AU) Media Fellow and United Nations (UN) press fellowship. She has been a journalist for 10 years. She worked as a full-time newsroom reporter and for six years before freelancing. She has been part of impactful journalism programmes: Women in News (WiN), African Women in Media (AWIM) environmental reporting programme, International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) agriculture fellowship among others.
