Mary Efuetji
Journalist, SOPECAM- Cameroon Tribune
Efuetji Mary is an optimistic and passionate journalist and Devcom personnel who hails from Lebialem Division, South West Region of Cameroon. I hold a B.Sc and Masters degree in journalism and Mass Communication from the university of Buea, Cameroon. For over four years, I have passionately served SOPECAM and other media houses in Cameroon as a journalist while building laudable skills in data Journalism, fact checking, digital literacy, and research. My Devcom prowess has been built by my devoted service to humanity through part time contracts and fellowships with like-minded organizations. I believe that a blend of Devcom and journalism can build an accommodating and peaceful society for all. It is no doubt that the world needs journalists who are not just problem identifiers but problem solvers while dispatching their roles as society's educators, informants, and watchdogs. Currently, I have authored two articles that are under publication review and more research projects in the pipeline. A blend of these skills I am confident will make information gathering, treatment, and dissemination efficient.
