Prof. Margaret Jjuuko
Professor, University Of Rwanda
Prof. Margaret Jjuuko is a professor of journalism, media and communication, with the School of Journalism and Communication, University of Rwanda, and President of the East African Communication Association (EACA). She has taught and consulted on media training and developmental projects in Eastern and Southern Africa. She is co-editor of Gender and Media Representations: Perspectives from Sub-Saharan Africa Volume (in Press), Emerald Publishers 2025. Her research interests are in media textual production and reception analyses (from the perspective of social justice) in the areas of environmental journalism and Communication, gender, politics, media ethics and policy, and ICTs.
