Susan is currently serving at the World Association of News Publishers WAN-IFRA Women in News as Director Global Partnerships and Advisory. She is also a board member for Gender Media Connect and a Zimbabwe Media Commissioner. Susan Makore has been a media trainer and coach for Zimbabwe for the past five years under the World Association of Newspapers’ Women in News. She has also served as Women in News Advisory Senior Manager for Africa between January 2021 and July 2022. Women in News is an organization whose mission is to increase women’s voices in news and newsrooms and advance gender equality in the media industry in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Arab regions through capacity building.
