Nila Yasmin is an award-winning Ugandan media entrepreneur, journalist, and documentary producer. She has worked on high-profile projects for global brands such as CNN and Euronews, producing over 90 docu-stories across Africa. She is the Founder of ZUBA Network, a Pan-African digital media platform that amplifies women’s voices and initiatives on the continent. She produced the 2024 "Women Beyond Borders" docuseries, showcasing women’s role and preparedness in driving the Africa Continental Free Trade Area. A passionate advocate for women's empowerment, Nila believes in media's power to drive social and economic development. Her accolades include the 2019 APO Group African Women in Media award, 2021 Digital Equality award nomination and 2022 African Union Media Fellow.
